So guys. I fell in love recently. With these boots. I’d been lusting after them for months and when I got an email from solestruck last week that they were available in my size, I dropped everything to purchase them immediately. I honestly cried when I put them on. They’re so beautiful.

The Oversized Winter Hooded Coat.
I waiver between wanting to wear skin-tight clothing and wanting to wear giant oversized drapey things. There’s something so fantastic about enveloping my body in warm things - especially in the winter.
When I saw this vintage camel coat at the thrift store a few weeks ago, I just knew I needed it in my wardrobe. It’s rich warm luxurious camel colored wool, lined with peach satin. I love that it can be more fitted using the drawstring toggles. I’m also a sucker for a giant hood. It’s just perfect.

I’m always on the quest for cute boots that fit my 18” calves. I stumbled across these today at DSW and scored them on clearance too!

They are not real leather though, which is sorta a downer for me. I just wish there were more high quality boots in plus sizes that I could TRY ON. For those of you in the UK or who are willing to deal with shipping from the UK, Duo Boots are great quality, real leather boots in calf sizes up to around 22” (they sell by shoe size and calf size).

My absolute favorite boot retailer is Duo boots based out of the UK. They do ship to the US, but I will warn that they are a little pricey ($250 range) But honestly, a good pair of boots will last you a long time - so it may be worth it to you!

Oh urban outfitters, what a TEASE! I’d like everything here in fat girl sizes please! I think it’s about time for a fattening up of these outfits - I’ll do my best to recreate them in plus sizes on polyvore in the next few days.

I can’t get over how much I love military-inspired lace-up boots with EVERYTHING for fall.
Last night was my birthday and the theme was 1990s. I found this cute floral print dress at the thrift store and paired with with a similarly colored flannel and my doc martens. I’ve had these boots since I was 13 years old (oooh 1993!).
To be honest, I plan on wearing this outfit all the time as the fall starts to approach.
